Topic : God has a plan
Text: Exodus 7:1-5
Key verse: “When I raise my powerful hand and bring out the Israelites, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”
We serve a mighty God! There is nothing happening in your life, or our world today, that has taken him by surprise. He is eternal, the Ancient of Days, all knowing, all powerful and the all wise God.
Do you believe it? You have to. Recall he told Abraham that his descendants will be held in captivity for four hundred years, long before Isaac was even born. Eventually, it came to pass. The other half of the prophecy was yet to be fulfilled, in fact, it looked impossible to be fulfilled. But, God did not just know it would be done, he had a plan!
Your deliverance and restoration will require a plan. God is never in a hurry, neither is he ever late. The greatest challenge is always the man he will use. Once the man is ready, God is ready.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pay close attention to this. I will make you seem like God to Pharaoh, and your brother, Aaron, will be your prophet”. God\’s ways require close attention. Our God is very detailed about his instructions. This lesson is one Moses failed to learn, it cost him the Promised Land.
You must be diligent to listen to instructions and follow every detail. Most words, numbers, days, colours and times have significance in the realm of the spiritual. You can\’t afford to be careless when you walk with God. Tell Aaron everything I command you, and Aaron must command Pharaoh to let the people of Israel leave his country. God\’s instructions are always specific. The devil will try to negotiate with you or suggest some form of compromise, but God\’s way requires obedience to specific details. Even your communication to others must be accurate.
Have you considered why God did not answer your prayer for deliverance the first time you prayed? God choose to harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply his miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
God will always deal with the spiritual first before the physical manifests. God will judge the forces that have oppressed you in the mighty name of Jesus. God\’s powerful hand will work in your favour today, to bring you out of every captivity in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Whether it is a marital bondage, financial captivity or health issues, God is able! He has a plan he has a set time. Today is that set time for someone reading this devotional!
Rise up with great expectation, listen for clear direction. God is for you , victory is assured in Jesus name!
