Topic: Instructions For A Time Of Darkness

Text: Matt. 2:13-15

Key verse: …Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until l tell you. Verse13

Paul while  writing to the Corinthian believers addressed the issue of temptation in 1Cor. 10:13. He stated that temptation is common to man, so when you are overtaken,  God is faithful to make a way of escape  so you can have the ability to endure it.

 The way of escape often comes as instructions in the time of darkness, it may be a dream or counsel from another believer.

A close walk with God, listening attentively to the Holy Spirit is very important. People will want to help by making suggestions about what to do or where to God to shorten the time of darkness.

Note that God always provides a way of escape. You should expect it, and look out for it.

Darkness can be prolonged when we resort to options that are contrary to God\’s provision and purpose. See verse 15 , .. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet …
