TURN ASIDE

A VERSE AT A TIME

TOPIC: TURN ASIDE

TEXT: Exodus 3:1-15

KEY VERSE: And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. Exodus 3:3

“God is waiting to meet with you. Are you ready to meet Him? Today’s text shows that God wants us to take a break from our busy schedules, projects, and plans to see what He has planned for us.”

Come near to God, and he will come near to you. You are sinners, so clean sin out of your lives. You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. Make your thinking pure. James 4:8(ERV)

“Be attentive to the events that unfold in your life, as it may be the Lord’s way of communicating with you. Like Moses, who noticed a unique and extraordinary phenomenon in the bush and turned his attention toward it, we, too, must take a posture of interest in what God is doing. God speaks to us in various ways, such as through his Son Jesus, the scriptures, nature, and political trends. Can you hear his voice amidst the noise of the world?”

In the past, God spoke to our people through the prophets. He spoke to them many times and in many different ways. And now, in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son. He made the whole world through his Son. And he has chosen his Son to have all things. Hebrews 1:1-2(ERV)

“Answer the Lord when He calls you in these days of prayer. Like Moses, who heard his name and responded, we, too, should be attentive to God’s call. Remember that God’s presence is holy ground, and we should examine our lives, our conduct, and our thoughts to ensure that we are living in full alignment with our position in Christ.”

Look closely at yourselves. Test yourselves to see if you are living in the faith. Don’t you realize that Christ Jesus is in you? Of course, if you fail the test, he is not in you. 2 Corinthians 13:5

And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:6

God introduced himself to Moses; be careful to know that the Lord is speaking to you. So many voices are speaking in the world today; discern the voice of the Good Shepherd.

So now I am sending you to Pharaoh. Go! Lead my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.” Exodus 3:10(ERV)

It’s important to remember that God has plans for our lives, families, and nations. By listening to His voice, we can discover our unique roles in His mission. As a believer, it’s essential to ensure that our work, career, or business aligns with this mission and is not just a means to provide for our daily needs. Take time to seek God’s guidance and direction, and trust that He will lead you to where you need to be. Remember, you have a specific purpose that only you can fulfil in this world.

“Eliminate any self-limiting beliefs or negative mindsets that make you feel unqualified. The one who sends you is called ‘I AM THAT I AM’. He will be with you and provide everything you need in response to your prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Prayer

1. Heavenly Father, thank you for granting me access to your presence.

2. Father, help me see what you are showing me in my life and world.

3. I repent of everything that defiles me and makes me unfit to be in your presence.

4. Here I am, Lord, speak to me as I draw near in these seven days of prayer, show me your visions, and give me dreams that will guide my journey.

5. I repent of every unbelief and fear; I embrace my identity in Christ and my position in heavenly places.

6. Lord, I trust you to lead me to fulfil my mission this year for your glory in Jesus’ name.

Bless the ZLord, oh my soul! And don’t forget all His benefits!
Lord, You are the Shepherd of my soul. I follow You all the way.

  2. It is true that God uses things around us to speak to us. May our eyes, ears and hearts open to receive from our Maker.
