The Supernatural

Topic: The Supernatural

Text: Exodus 7

Key verse: Pharaoh will demand, ‘Show me a miracle.’ When he does this, say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent.

The ways of God includes the supernatural. The vessel God will use for exploits must expect and be ready for the supernatural. God prepared Moses and Aaron for their encounter with Pharaoh, it was going to be a show down because Egypt was a deeply spiritual nation. God needed to defeat the powers one after the other and release his people.

Often times in our preparation for destiny assignment, we come across intense opposition from the kingdom of darkness. God\’s vessel must rely completely on God for victory.

Our warfare is not against human beings, just as it was not between Moses and Pharaoh. It was a contest between the kingdom of darkness and light. The intense warfare that has been raging against you, your marriage, family, ministry, business, career and health is not a personal attack against you alone, but rather against the kingdom you represent.

Look past the human agents and see your invisible adversaries.  For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. 2Cor.10:4(TPT)

As Aaron produced a sign, Pharaoh had magicians that produced the counterfeit. Yet God\’s rod prevailed and swallowed their rods. Every rod of the wicked formed against you is judged today, and swallowed up in Jesus name. Amen. God showed Moses where to fight the battle, what to say, and what to expect. Many believers enter the battle using a borrowed battle strategy, choosing the time of warfare should be the Lord\’s prerogative. Midnight prayers are good, but some battles are fought in the morning by divine instruction.

Don\’t go without the Lord, David said… Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle. Let the Lord train you in spiritual warfare himself, stop relying on prayer books alone. Learn the skills for battle.

Notice the battle began with words before the prophetic actions. Learn to speak God\’s words over you circumstances. Learn to command, bind or loose the enemy. Learn when to decree a thing, and when to cast out demons away from where they have taken root. It’s all in God\’s words spoken through your mouth.

As children of God, we have weapons for our warfare, seek them out, study to know how to use them and watch God glorify himself through you.  Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! You are not alone, his presence is with you as you face every Pharaoh!
