Topic: The God of Restoration
Text: 1 Samuel 2:1-10
Key Verse: The Lord kills and restores to life; he sends people to the world of the dead and brings them back again. – 1 Samuel 2:6
We serve the God of restoration. God made the world and all that is in it. The different systems, solar and ecosystem, and as the earth wears out, God sustains it by the power of his word.
Man, made in the image of God is not left out, the human body is made up of different systems too, nervous, digestive, circulatory, respiratory, etc. God has designed the body to be restored. The soul also needs to be restored after a season. The psalmist testified of the shepherd who restores.
…and you refresh my life. You are true to your name, and you lead me along the right paths. – Psalm 23:3
Let us recognize the will of God, and his ability to restore man’s spirit, soul, and body. Let us boldly go to the throne of grace to ask for restoration according to our needs.
…And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived: – Genesis 45:27
I pray for you today, may you hear the news that will revive your spirit before the end of this month in Jesus name.
