Expect supernatural Interventions

Topic: EXPECT SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTIONS
Text: JOSHUA 5:13-15(CEV)
Key Verse: One day, Joshua was near Jericho when he saw a man standing some distance in front of him. The man was holding a sword, so Joshua walked up to him and asked, “Are you on our side or on our enemies’ side?” Joshua 5:13(CEV)

All around us, spiritual activities are going on every day. These activities are events that we can not explain physically or scientifically; there are supernatural. As Joshua prepared to battle against Jericho, he saw a man with a sword; he didn’t act in fear but asked for the man’s identity. There are negative and positive supernatural interventions. Sometimes the devil can disguise himself to deceive the believers and lead them into error.

And it is no wonder. Even Satan tries to make himself look like an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14(CEV)

How do we discern supernatural interventions.

  • Cultivate the habit of testing every spirit.
Is what you are receiving scriptural? Is the wisdom it contains from above? Dear friends, don’t believe everyone who claims to have the Spirit of God. Test them all to find out if they really do come from God. Many false prophets have already gone out into the world, 1 John 4:1(CEV)

But the wisdom that comes from above leads us to be pure, friendly, gentle, sensible, kind, helpful, genuine, and sincere. James 3: 17(CEV)

Angels are merely spirits sent to serve people who are going to be saved. Hebrews1:14(CEV)

Don’t reject and contend against every supernatural intervention; first, identify it.
I am grateful that God always makes it possible for Christ to lead us to victory. 2 Corinthians 2:14a(CEV)

  • Learn to recognize the voice of the Lord and receive instructions.

When he has led out all of his sheep, he walks in front of them, and they follow, because they know his voice. John 10:4(CEV)

There are specific instructions for different battles, so be attentive to hear.

Prayer

  1. Father, I thank you that I don’t have to fight my battles alone.
  2. Father, thank you for coming yourself to go with me into this battle.
  3. Heavenly Father, help me to be sensitive to discern supernatural intervention in my life.
  4. Father, help me to walk in holiness as we engage in these battles.
  5. I receive the ministry of angels into my life in this season in Jesus’ name, amen.
