Cry Out Now

Topic: Cry Out Now

Text: 1 Kings 22:29 -33

Key Verse: And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out. – 1 Kings 22:32

One of the lines in the Lord’s prayer says, Lead us not into temptation, l believe that we are in a season when believers ought to pray this line more. There are so many wicked activities going on all around us that we ought not to be silent, but cry out.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. – Matthew 6:13

The term evil pursuers have suddenly become popular in Christian vocabulary as more people feel a sense of being under attack and being pursued. This phenomenon is not new, in our text we see that King Jehoshaphat had a similar experience.

You may be experiencing an attack on your life, or God has given you dreams that indicate you or someone close to you is in danger. You must not treat this information lightly as the season we live in now, is a time of intense spiritual warfare.

God has equipped us for battle in the scriptures we must know and use the weapons to defend ourselves. Put on your whole spiritual armor in readiness for battle.

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. – Ephesians 6:11

Jehoshaphat walked into trouble by the wrong association, he hung out with a man who was marked out for death. He was not alert to notice that his partner put on a disguise, and advised him not to follow suit. His naivety almost cost his life.

He became a prey of the mighty and almost a lawful captive until he cried out. It’s time to cry out against the negative events that have continued to happen against you and those you love, God can deliver in Jesus’ name.

Prayer

Father thank you for the gift of salvation, in Jesus.

Lord forgive me for every partnership and association with godless people, in Jesus’ name.

Deliver me from being a prey to evil pursuers in Jesus’ name.

Reverse every evil agenda against my life, family, business or ministry in Jesus’ name.
