Battle Ready

Topic: Battle Ready

Text: Judges 6: 1-10, 34-35.

Key Verse: The Lord’s Spirit took control of Gideon, and Gideon blew a signal on a trumpet to tell the men in the Abiezer clan to follow him. – Judges 6:34

God has spoken good concerning us, it is a season different from every other one before it. I declare to you by faith it is the time to get battle-ready because you will see the enemy run in Jesus’ name. Amen.
God is saddened when his people are molested, attacked and their harvest is ruined by the evil ones. Israel suffered in the hands of Midian for many long years and the specialty of the enemy against them at this time was to spoil their farmland and waste their harvest!
The enemy would often come to mass to first intimidate, overwhelm, and paralyze with fear. Leaving you too numb to cry out or fight back. Some of us like Ephraim of old, though armed to the teeth instead of fighting for our freedom we rather run away to hide. Israel made dens for herself to hide from the enemy instead of fighting for her harvest. Have you been making excuses to justify your losses and failure to take your harvest?
No more excuses for the devil and his agents. Serve them the notice now, God has arisen for you!
The Midianites were so cruel that many Israelites ran to the mountains and hid in caves. Every time the Israelites would plant crops, the Midianites invaded Israel together with the Amalekites and other eastern nations. They rode in on their camels, set up their tents, and then let their livestock eat the crops as far as the town of Gaza. The Midianites stole food, sheep, cattle, and donkeys. Like a swarm of locusts, they could not be counted, and they ruined the land wherever they went. The Midianites took almost everything that belonged to the Israelites, and the Israelites begged the Lord for help. – Judges 6:2-4,6
Do you feel your experience is similar to that of the Israelites? Have you failed so many times that you are now afraid to plant, build, invest, or even write a simple application? Have you labored so hard and always watch your harvest waste before your eyes? Then this is your season of a turnaround in Jesus’ name. God says it’s time to demand a restoration of all you have lost! If God did it before, he can do it again for everyone who believes.

Prayer

1. Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. I worship you for the good thoughts you always think of me.
2. Today Lord, l repent of my fear, and lack of courage, l am done running before the enemy, forgive me for not trusting you, but trusting in myself and my abilities, in Jesus’ name. amen
3. Father, am pained in my heart for all the losses l have suffered, all the projects that the enemy aborted, all the harvests wasted by my adversaries. I bring all my pain to the Cross today in Jesus’ name.
4. I agree with you Lord, it is the enemy that did these not you, forgive me for running from you, being angry with you, and speaking of you as unfaithful to me.

5. Father, l arise in faith, l believe your word concerning me, l know who l am, l will no longer run, l rid myself of any altar that can speak against me, l pull them down now in Jesus name.
6. Holy Spirit take control of me, anoint me for war, make me battle-ready in Jesus’ name. Amen.
