A Satisfied Soul

Topic: A Satisfied Soul

Text: Jeremiah 31:20-28

Key Verse: For I [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I replenish every languishing and sorrowful person.” – Jeremiah 31:25 (AMP)
I awoke this morning with a phrase on my heart, “it all begins with the soul”. The work of restoration the Lord wants to do for you will produce a satisfied soul. Nobody understands the importance of a soul as much as the Lord. Humans invest heavily in education and the well-being of the physical body, meeting its needs as best as possible. Likewise, our heavenly Father values the soul more than all the wealth of the earth.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? – Matthew 16:26

Investing in the future of your soul in eternity is more valuable than amassing wealth.  All your material acquisition will be spent by those who may not recognize or appreciate the labor you put in to make it, and no one can influence how you end up in eternity except you take responsibility for it.What will a man give in exchange for his soul?
The Lord promises: For I [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I replenish every languishing and sorrowful person.

Has life left you weary, are you wasting away with sorrow and worry about things that happened in the past? God remembers you today and is mindful of you.
“Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a darling and beloved child? For as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him. Therefore My affection is renewed and My heart longs for him; I will surely have mercy on him,” says the Lord. – Jeremiah 31:20

There are steps the Lord requires you to take. First, retrace your steps back to the Lord. Put off unbelief,  live by faith again. Then the Lord will bring the restoration of your finances, health, and relationships. There is hope for your future,” says the Lord. “Your children will come again to their land. – Jeremiah 31:17
